The Board of Review (BOR) consists of three residents appointed by the Johnstown Township Board. The Board of Review members serve two-year terms starting on January 1 of each odd-numbered year. Members are voters of the township, at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, and must have lived in the township for at least 30 days and cannot be an assessor’s relative. There are no statutory requirements regarding skills, training or experience that members must meet. Board members should be citizens interested in the public good, to the goal of fair, just, and equitable property tax administration.

Organizational Meeting: March 3, 2026, at 5:00 pm
Appeals: Monday, March 9, 2026, from 2:00-5:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Appeals: Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 9:00 am-noon; and 1:00 pm-4:00 pm;
Appeals: Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 9:00 am-noon
Appeals: Monday, March 16, 2026, from 5:00-6:00 pm
July Board of Review:

December Board of Review: current year poverty exemption requests, but not poverty exemptions which were denied by the March Board of Review. Disputes related to property valuation are prohibited during December Board of Review.
