Seeking On-call Firefighters
Are you interested in becoming a paid on-call firefighter? Are you at least 18 years old and reside within Johnstown Township? Are you interested in serving your community and providing them with first responder medical response to keep them safe from harm of a fire or vehicle accident? We are looking for individuals that are ready and eager to obtain the training needed to be a vital asset to our department!

Cadet Program
We are accepting applications for our cadet program for anyone age 16 to 18 or completion of high school diploma and parental permission. Our cadets are assigned to experienced firefighters as mentors, and will be allowed to respond to emergency calls per guidelines.
This program allows high school students the opportunity to experience the job. Once the cadet turns 18 and shows serious interest in becoming a member of the department, the hiring process and required schooling to become a member of the fire department begins.
